Masterfully crafted Bamboo Tea Strainer

Originating in Kyoto, this fifth-generation atelier combines traditional shaping techniques with modern design concepts. The bamboo, which is locally sourced in the outskirts of Kyoto is light-weight and sturdy.

Masterfully woven, this sturdy bamboo Tea Strainer adds a rustic touch to all your tea endeavors. Simply place the strainer on top of a tea cup or bowl to strain out steeped tea leaves. The strainer may impart a pleasant and soothing aroma of bamboo, heightening the relaxation power of your tea-- this will become more subtle through continual use.

Utilize it with our Organic Loose Leaf Teas by Jugestudo in Sencha Asa, Genmaicha, Hojicha, or Yuzu Sencha to enjoy a perfect cup of tea.
