Organic Hojicha by Jugetsudo (Loose Leaf)

Jugetsudo is an authentic Japanese tea house and shop based in Tsukiji, Tokyo. It was started by Maruyama Nori, the nori (dried seaweed) merchant founded in 1854. More than 160 years of tradition and experience pursuing the highest quality ingredients along with the spirit of Cha-Zen promise and enjoyable fragrance of tea that will stimulate your senses while providing a sense of comfort.

Roasted at a high temperature, this loose leaf tea gives off a very pleasant fragrance and produces a gentle flavor. It has less caffeine than other green teas and is gentle on the stomach. Hojicha has a lovely, soft brown color.

• Ideal water temperature for brewing: 212°F | 100°C
