Starting from kneading the clay, each unique piece in the Omichi Donabe collection by Nagatani-en was thrown and made entirely by hand by an individual artisan. A perfect example of Wabi-Sabi, each piece carries with it candid imperfections that reveal moments from its creation. Due to the individual attention given to each piece, Omichi Donabe do not come by our store very often, and not in large numbers either. However, each piece wields unique features, like their own top handle, side handles, and embellishments. Omichi Donabe are honest creations, and most of all, they are always one of a kind.
