Originating in Kyoto, this fifth-generation atelier combines traditional shaping techniques with modern design concepts. Bamboo used in Kohchosai Kosuga products is Madake or Mousouchiku variety, which is sourced in Japan and is light-weight and very sturdy.
This Sai-bashi (Cooking Chopsticks) are made with durable and flexible bamboo with slightly grooved tips that makes them easier to grasp even a small bean. It is great not only for using in cooking, such as picking up ingredients from the oil while deep-frying, but also for arranging the ingredients from your donabe into individual bowls.
