The first installment of the Ikebana workshop was so well received and sold out immediately. So, we are offering this super fun workshop again on October 1!
Have fun playing and learning the basics about Ikebana style flower arrangement. TOIRO welcomes Ryanne Hawkins, the founder of @flowerplay.la to host this intimate and fun event.
Celebrate the autumn season with colorful flowers in Moribana (piled-up flowers) style. With a few key elements of flowers and leaves, you can arrange their natural shapes to capture their essence. Discover a new perspective and appreciation for their beauty. Plus, you’ll be able to take home your flowers, vase, and kenzan!
During this event, Naoko and the TOIRO Team will also demonstrate donabe rice cooking, and prepare Onigiri (Japanese rice balls) and Cold Brew Green Tea (from Shizuoka, Japan) for you to enjoy at the end. Space is limited to 10 participants in each session. Please sign up from the link here.
