The moment you hot brew the tea, you smell the sweet aroma of white peaches, which pair beautifully with the light, grassy notes of the sencha; the mint is subtle and helps meld the flavors of the peach and sencha. You can even brew it a second time and still experience the same aroma and nuances of the tea. Also enjoy the tea cold-brewed, making for an incredibly refreshing tea with the subtle sweetness of the peach and herbal characters of the mint. Surprisingly, the peach is even more pronounced when prepared this way. It's the perfect afternoon tea with its light body, slight sweetness, and mild bitterness.
How to Cold Brew:
- Combine about 1 tablespoon (6 g) of tea leaves with 2 cups (500 ml) of cold water.
- Let sit in the fridge for 1 hour or longer. The longer you steep, the more intense the flavors will be. We recommend steeping for 2 hours. Strain and enjoy.
