Enhancing Traditional Cooking
The KAKOMI IH donabe steamer is a modern take on the traditional Japanese donabe. Its design is not only sleek and versatile but also engineered to work with all types of cooktops, including induction, gas, and halogen, as well as being microwave and oven-safe. This makes it an exceptional choice for various culinary practices from steaming to simmering.
High-Tech Features for Optimal Cooking
Equipped with a high-quality heating element, the KAKOMI IH donabe guarantees efficient cooking by conducting heat evenly without direct contact with the cooktop surface, minimizing wear and tear. This innovative feature ensures your meals are cooked perfectly every time.
Health-Conscious Cooking Made Simple
The KAKOMI IH donabe comes with a steam insert that allows you to cook delicious, nutrient-rich meals without the need for oil. Its unique ceramic composition boasts a low water absorption rate, meaning flavors from previous meals won’t transfer, and you can enjoy fresh-tasting food every time without concerns about odors or mold.

Crafted from high heat-resistant ceramic, this donabe is built to last. It's easy to maintain and clean, requiring just a gentle wash without abrasive materials. If mishandled, simple household ingredients like baking soda can help restore its condition, ensuring a long-lasting addition to your kitchen.
