Hinoki Cypress Rice Paddle  

These beautifully carved rice paddles are made from high quality Japanese Hinoki Cypress Wood. The extra-large size is ideal for mixing/ serving rice out of a large handai (sushi bowl), and the large size is good for medium-to large handai or 5 rice-cup size Kamado-san rice cooker as well. Mini size is perfect for making sushi rolls; essential to have a few for a temaki (hand-roll) party!

Usage and Care

• Hand wash ONLY along the grain of the wood with water and a soft sponge
• Dry in shaded area before storing (rapid heat due to dish dryer or direct sunlight etc. will cause deformation)
• Because it is made of cypress, there may be some residual residue (this is hygienic and contains antimicrobial components). If you are concerned, you may wipe it off with vinegar diluted in hot water,
• Avoid soaking in water
• Avoid extended exposure to direct sunlight; product may discolor and/or warp
• Avoid using near exposed flame or electric stoves; items are flammable
• NOT dishwasher safe

• We use USPS Priority Mail International for international shipping.
