It is made from laboratory glass, the heat-resistant glass used for beakers and flasks, which makes it durable. The simple design suits any tea you like to drink, from black tea and sencha to Chinese and herbal teas. It can also be used at the table as a carafe, decanter, or water pitcher. Usage and Care
- Microwave safe.
- Can be used with the small size tea warmer.
- A small flame such as a tea light candle may be used to keep tea warm. Keep the flame low and centered under the teapot. For safety, do not use over any other direct flame.
- Do not heat when empty.
- Wipe any water droplets off the outside before use.
- Avoid adding cold water to the teapot while it is hot.
- Do not use abrasive sponges, metal scrubbers, or cleansers.
