Oni Sudare
Oni Sudare is a Japanese traditional bamboo rolling mat made with thick triangular rods. This is typically used for rolling an omelet such as Date-Maki (Japanese traditional rolled omelet for New Year) and can also be used for rolled cakes and any creative rolled dishes. The sharp-edged rods can give the distinctive ridges in the outside of the finished shape.
