Handmade Chasen (Tea Whisk) Stand

TE HANDEL's Hand-made Glass Chasen Stand was made in collaboration with a laboratory glass craftsman in Tokyo and is both beautiful in its simplistic design and its functionality. Chasen or tea whisks are used when brewing matcha powder and allow the powder to be vigorously mixed with water to create the signature bright green delicacy that is matcha. The stand allows you to place the chasen aside after or between uses, but also serves as a wonderfully decorative way to display your chasen, which are often works of hand-made art in their own right. As each of the chasen stands are hand-made in small-batch production, they are each slightly unique in their shape and comes packaged in a small stylish gift box, perfect for gifting.

Usage and Care

• This product is not microwave-safe. This product should not be set over direct heat. 
• This product is not dishwasher-safe. Hand wash only.
• Glass is very fragile. Please handle it gently and carefully. In the case of breakage, take care not to incur injury.
• Avoid any sharp temperature change on the product, as it could cause cracking.
• Scratched, cracked or chipped glassware may cause breakage. In such cases, please do not use the product.
• Please wash with a soft sponge. Some cleaners could make a scratch on the glass and cause damage.
