Stainless Steel Rice Mold - Two Designs
These authentic Japanese rice-shaping molds add flares of fun to rice dish plating. The Chrysanthemum and Melon designs each create unique eating experiences that are familiar across Japan and have found their way into many international kitchens.
These molds are made of stainless steel which make them not only easy to clean but also allow them to create consistently beautiful rice shapes. The sizes provide a lot of versatility as they can be used to prepare decorative dinner courses or sides and are perfect for bento. To feel some nostalgia, you can add a little flag on top of the mound rice. Adorned with the classic "Stainless Steel: Made in Japan" engraving, these high quality rice molds bring beauty and tradition to your dish.
The Chrysanthemum, a symbolic flower shape in Japan, adds a simplistic beauty and nostalgia to the plate.
The Melon shape can be used for Curry Rice and is popularly used for preparing Omurice: fried rice topped with a fluffy Japanese omelette.
When plating your dish, make sure to firmly pack rice into these molds so your dish can hold the best shape!
