Made in the nature-rich town of Tsukechi, Gifu Prefecture, where Yamasakura has been prized for generations, each piece is carefully shaped at Arai Lumber Mill. The process starts with responsibly sourced local hardwood, ensuring that every part of the wood is used thoughtfully. Yamasakura is a dense and sturdy wood that resists damage, does not produce resin, and develops a warm amber hue with use—ideal for long-lasting kitchen tools.
Finished with natural oil to highlight its smooth surface, this turner is comfortable to hold and gentle on cookware.
