Mino-yaki Earthenware

Mino-yaki earthenware is specialty pottery produced in the Mino Region (around current Toki City) of Gifu prefecture which began in the 7th century. Mino-yaki continues to adapt to modern lifestyles while preserving its history and tradition. One of the signature characteristics of Mino-yaki earthenware is its diversity. Mino-yaki does not adhere to a single form, as it has over 15 registered types of traditional handicraft in Japan.

YUI Tea Cup (Round)

YUI Tea Cup (Round) is presented by SALIU, a brand by Nature Ave. SALIU is a collection of fine tableware made in Gifu, Japan.

YUI bears a smooth silhouette and a fine matte texture which is nice to the touch. As evidenced by their fine details, YUI Tea Cups (Round) are adorned with unique differences in tone across their body and sometimes show the drinker marks of the artisan which formed them. This tea cup has a soft round shape and can hold up to 8 fl oz. (230 ml). YUI Tea Cups are also available in a smaller design in two color ways.

YUI Tea Cup (Round) is best enjoyed with a matching YUI Wooden Handle Dobin Teapot (sold separately).

Usage and Care

• Hand wash only - this product is not dishwasher-safe.
• Use a soft sponge and mild dish soap to clean.
• Avoid metal/abrasive scrubbers as this can damage the glaze.
• Never apply direct heat to product.
• Let completely dry before storing.
• Not microwave safe.
