5 years! On October 10, 2022, we celebrated TOIRO’s fifth anniversary. A lot has changed since we opened our brick-and-mortar shop in Los Angeles in 2017. Starting with one Donabe, Kamado-san, our founder Naoko Takei Moore (a.k.a Mrs. Donabe) began spreading her love of Japanese Donabe cooking to her community in LA. Now, this community who share this love of Donabe exist across the US and abroad. We want to thank every one of you who have been supporting us all past years.
