This October 10 marks 8 years since TOIRO opened the doors of our brick-and-mortar shop in West Hollywood in 2017. We are deeply grateful for your support over the years, and we’re celebrating this milestone with a very special event!
On Friday, October 10, we will welcome the 8th and 9th generation Nagatani family of Nagatani-en, the historic maker of Iga-yaki donabe since 1832. In honor of TOIRO’s anniversary, they will offer a one-time donabe cooking class at our shop.
This rare opportunity to learn directly from the Nagatani family is not to be missed. Please join us as we celebrate eight wonderful years with the artisans who have carried on donabe-making traditions for generations.
