We're hiring! TOIRO Kitchen & Supply is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable part-time team member to join our small team at our West Hollywood shop.
This is an active, hands-on role. You'll pack and ship online orders, help customers in the shop, manage inventory, and assist with workshops and events. Along the way, you'll learn about our donabe, artisanal kitchen tools, and the makers in Japan behind them.
We'd love to hear from you if you have a genuine interest in Japanese food, cooking, and craftsmanship, a positive attitude, and good stamina, including the ability to lift boxes up to 40–50 lbs. Retail experience, donabe cooking knowledge, Japanese/English bilingual skills, or experience with Shopify, social media, or photography are a plus, but not required.
- Location: West Hollywood, CA
- Hours: Approximately 20+ hours per week, typically 10 AM–6 PM, including at least 4 weekend days per month
- Pay: Starting at $21/hour, with potential raises based on performance
- Growth: Potential transition to full-time after a three-month introductory period
