
The one-night donabe dinner at KIKO in New York City with Chef Alex Chang last Sunday was so much fun and so beautiful.

Before the dinner, I had a book signing event at Kinokuniya New York Bookstore. It was a cold and rainy afternoon, but I really appreciate those who came to see me!
Then, I headed to KIKO to get ready for the dinner event.


The evening celebrated my new cookbook, Simply Donabe, and centered around dishes that showcased the beauty of donabe cooking. It meant so much to share that experience around the table with everyone who joined us.




Spending time with Chef Alex in the kitchen was also a wonderful experience. His exceptional talent, dedication, and personality elevated every dish.



I’m so grateful to Chef Alex, Lina, and the KIKO team for bringing such care and thoughtfulness to the collaboration, and to all the guests who made the night feel so warm and memorable.
