
Our first collaboration donabe cooking class with Nagatani-en last Friday was filled with great fun and deliciousness. The 8th and 9th generations members of the Nagatani family came all the way from Iga, Japan, and we had a great time learning about their history, philosophy of the authentic Iga-yaki donabe making and way of enjoying donabe cooking from them. They made different donabe dishes and shared with the guests.



The space was filled with happiness and we thank all the guests who participated with great curiosity and kindness.




The class was sold out within 30 minutes of its announcement in our newsletter a few weeks ago, so we hope to host more donabe cooking classes next year to respond to all the requests. Thank you, and Happy Donabe Life!
