Tokyo-based acrylic company toumei, Japanese for “transparent”, prides itself in producing the highest quality made in Japan acrylic resin products. Haku Series
The Haku series features a motif reminiscent of gold leaf. They are presented in various patterns inspired by Japanese culture. The tops of the coasters are finished with a matte coating lending the designs a stained-glass quality. These coasters are understated conversation starters and will add a touch of surprising elegance to your dining table or living room. The foil on each coaster is hand-pressed so variations are to be expected and appreciated.
Each set comes neatly nestled in a paulownia gift box.
They come in a set of four and are available in two varieties:
Set i: Tampopo (dandelion), Kinkan (kumquat), Asagao (morning glory) and Tai (sea bream/red snapper).
Set ro: Nasubi (Japanese eggplant), Temari (Japanese handball), Kamome (seagull) and Ohagi (sweet rice ball).
