Direct Heat Mino-Yaki Dobin Tea Pot
This dobin (ceramic pot) is made of extra-durable stoneware, and it can be heated directly on gas stove to boil water. The soft curbed wooden handle not only completes its classic-modern look but also is easy to hold.
Because this dobin can be used for direct heat, you can use it for making yakuzen-cha (Chinese herbal medicine inspired tea, which requires steeping slowly over heat).
This is an updated version of their popular dobin. The color of this donabe is sumi, which refers to traditional ink for Japanese calligraphy and is soft black.
Sho Tea Cup is sold separately. We also recommend Cast Iron Trivet to accompany this item.
