Earthy Hot Pot and One Pot Dishes

Earthy ingredients such as root vegetables and mushrooms taste especially nice in the wintertime.  We will make a variety of "one pot" donabe dishes to keep your heart and body warm in the cold season.

Menu:
  • Wilted mizuna and brie "ae-mono" salad
  • Donabe steam-fry mixed mushrooms and tofu in miso sauce
  • "Sake-kasu nabe" (hot pot of fish and vegetables in aromatic sake lees broth)
  • Gobo (burdock root) donabe rice
  • Pairing wine or sake
